The Realme Pad Mini arrives in France with a very compact format housing an 8.7-inch screen. The tablet is also distinguished by its low price around 200 euros depending on the configuration chosen.

The Realme Pad Mini arrives in France and it is the first tablet of the Chinese brand in France. Some might think it’s just another somewhat ordinary Android tablet. However, the format of this slate has something to tickle the curiosity since it is really very small, as its name suggests.
An 8.7-inch screen in a small format
Indeed, the Realme Pad Mini has dimensions of only 211.84 x 124.48 x 7.59 mm for an 8.7-inch screen. For comparison, Apple’s iPad mini, which has an 8.3-inch panel, is shorter (195.4 mm), but wider (134.8 mm).
Realme prides itself on offering a screen covering 84.59% of the front face and that it has a definition of 1340 x 800 pixels. For the rest, nothing exceptional in the program. The Realme Pad Mini benefits from an aluminum chassis, a jack, a USB-C port and a photo block on the back consisting of a single sensor.

It should also be noted that the new slate is positioned on an entry-level segment to keep a very attractive price. Evidenced by its fairly modest Unisoc T616 SoC engraved in 12 nm, clocked at 2 GHz and equipped with eight cores (2 Cortex A75 and 6 Cortex A55). The 3 or 4 GB of RAM is associated with 32 or 64 GB of UFS 2.1 storage (expandable up to 1 TB). Finally, the 6400 mAh battery promises 15 hours of video playback and comes with an 8 GB charger.
Note that the photo sensor on the back has a definition of 8 megapixels and that the Realme Pad Mini is powered by the Realme UI “for Pad” interface based on Android 11. Proof of this is that Android tablets have tended to multiply lately after several years of sluggishness. You will note in passing that the device exists in a 4G version if the Wi-Fi only version does not suit you.
Realme Pad Mini price and release date
Count 179.99 euros for the Realme Pad Mini in Wi-Fi and with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Then, we go up to 199.99 euros for the 4/64 GB model, still Wi-Fi only. Finally, the 4G and 4/64 GB compatible version costs 229.99 euros.
The product launches this Thursday, May 12, 2022 in dark gray or blue.
