Orange has decided to put a big kick in the anthill in terms of 5G packages. The incumbent operator is currently offering a 140 GB package for only 17.99 euros per month for one year, all without commitment.
Orange is definitely hitting hard with this offer in the category of non-binding 5G packages. The latter offers no less than 140 GB of monthly envelope for a price almost halved the first year. It is quite simply the most advantageous 5G plan of the moment.
Orange’s limited-edition 5G package is…
- Unlimited calls, SMS/MMS with 140 GB of 4G+/5G
- Valid in France, Europe, DOM, Switzerland and Andorra
- The best mobile network in France, all without commitment
Until August 17, 2022the Orange 5G plan of 140 GB without engagement is available at only 17.99 euros per month for the first year, then increases to 32.99 euros per month thereafter. This package is only valid for new customers.
If you need to be completely networked at home and on your mobile, the Open UP and Open Max packs which include Orange Fiber (Internet + TV + Fixed telephony) are on sale. We find in particular the Open Up pack (4G package of 80 GB) at 37.99 euros per month for one year with a 12-month commitment.
There is no better mobile network for less
Orange has by far the best mobile network in France, especially when it comes to 5G right now. Incidentally, it is not we who claim this, but rather Arcep, which places the operator in the lead in this area since it already covers a good part of the territory with 5G antennas, especially in large cities, and certified up to 240 Mb/s. With such speeds, in other words, you won’t be short of what your mobile can offer, such as 4K video streaming, fluid browsing on social networks or even online gaming where that you are. Especially since with 140 GB, there is plenty to do.
Regarding data valid abroad, the operator does better than everyone else since it offers the largest basic envelope in this case. You therefore have access to 80 GB of the package in Europe, the French overseas departments and even in Switzerland and Andorra where other operators do not exceed 10 or 15 GB on this type of package. If you run out of GB in your monthly usage, you can go through the Orange et Moi app to add some extra data (paid option).
5G is good, but can we still make calls?
Rest assured, Orange has not cut on this aspect. Calls are of course unlimited anywhere in France to mobiles and landlines. But this is also the case from the Europe, DOM, Switzerland and Andorra zones. It is also unlimited with SMS and MMS from and to these same localities.
Orange is also providing for professionals or people juggling several devices since it is possible, for an additional 5 euros per me, to obtain an additional SIM card for example to use it with a tablet, a 4G/5G Box or why not another smartphone.

How do I keep my number?
You can of course keep your current mobile number by changing the plan. First of all, it is necessary to add 10 euros to the total of your order to obtain the new triple-cut SIM. The change of operator is then made without interruption if you keep your number. It’s free and just provide the RIO code of your line when registering. If you don’t know how to proceed, consult our tutorial to request your RIO.
