Want to enjoy your music wherever you want this summer? The Huawei Sound Joy Bluetooth speaker offers quality Devialiet sound and is very durable. Today it becomes cheaper than usual: 109.99 euros instead of 149.99 euros.

Huawei is increasingly diversifying following the difficulties the company is going through with the embargo. The brand decides to release a new product on the audio side: the Sound Joy. This is the first mobile speaker from the Chinese firm designed in partnership with Devialet. A collaboration that had already borne fruit for two other references — Huawei Sound X and Huawei Sound. It has good arguments to put forward, and has the advantage of being offered 40 euros cheaper than when it was launched.
The advantages of the Huawei Sound Joy
- A nomadic speaker with beautiful finishes
- Quality Devialet sound
- Comfortable autonomy
- The little extra: a luminous halo
Usually priced at 149.99 euros, the Huawei Sound Joy Bluetooth speaker sees its price drop to 109.99 euros on the manufacturer’s website. To get this price, just apply the code AHWEWSJ2 in the basket.

Designed to be taken anywhere easily
With the Sound Joy, Huawei designs an easily transportable nomadic product. By offering a cylindrical shape 20.2 cm high and weighing 680 grams, the firm ensures that it is as easy to transport as a bottle of water. On the design side, Huawei is inspired by its competitors like JBL, with a fabric covering which will also make the speaker robust and resistant for all your outdoor excursions. Thanks to its IP67 certification, the speaker is waterproof and can withstand water up to one meter deep for 30 minutes. It is therefore ideal for all your excursions in the open air or at the water’s edge.
The Chinese firm brings a touch of originality by integrating a luminous halo at the top of the enclosure. It changes color with music, charging or voice calls. The Sound Joy is also equipped with three microphones for voice calls, with suppression of ambient noise. Depending on the positioning of the speaker (vertical or horizontal), the role of each microphone is adjusted, in order to always capture the voice of the user. It is even possible to call the voice assistant of your smartphone via a button on the speaker. In addition, the “Shake Stereo Link Up” function will allow you to shake two nearby speakers to connect them together and deliver stereo sound.
A very appreciable audio signature thanks to the collaboration with Devialet
To design its speaker, Huawei partnered with audio giant Devialet. A combination that makes it possible to offer a beautiful sound reproduction with a balanced, rich and powerful sound. There are two speakers with a 10 W tweeter responsible for the treble and a 20 W mid-woofer which will be able to focus on the mids and bass. On each side of the cylinder, passive radiators with a wide range will also allow the acoustic pressure to be evacuated.
According to Huawei, the speaker is capable of producing a sound volume of up to 79 dB. Unlike the brand’s previous speakers, however, it is only a Bluetooth speaker and not Wi-Fi. To connect it to a smartphone, Huawei has integrated an NFC chip. The connection is made here in Bluetooth 5.2, but only with the classic Huawei codecs, namely AAC, SBC and LHDC.
A speaker that lasts a good part of the evening
To finish on a high note, Huawei wants to make the music last, by integrating an 8,800 mAh battery. If the brand announces 26 hours of use at 50% volume, during our test it lasted a little over 18 hours at 20% of maximum power. It will take 3 hours to fully charge it.
