Yogesh Brar believes he knows the technical data sheet of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which is expected during the month of June in China. According to him, no 200 megapixel sensor would be in the game. Wireless charging would also take a small leap forward.

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is one of the big flagships expected during the summer period. The Chinese manufacturer should introduce it in its native country during the month of June, followed a few weeks later by a presentation for Europe. Until then, leaks and other hallway noises continue to appear on the Web.
The latest is to the credit of leaker Yogesh Brar, who does not fail to add the notation “according to rumors» at the beginning of his twitter message. It is therefore appropriate to welcome the following elements with a few tweezers and not to rush as to the final technical sheet of the phone.
No 200-megapixel sensor
Let’s start with the information that challenges the most: the number of megapixels of the main rear camera, which would be limited to 50 mpx. We are here far from the famous 200 megapixel sensor that we have heard about. The photo block would be completed by an ultra wide-angle and a 48-megapixel x5 optical.
In principle, and as Digital Chat Station already suggested in May 2022, this Xiaomi 12 Ultra would use the same photo configuration as its predecessor. The 20 megapixel lens placed at the front would also be part of it.

Yogesh Brar is also betting on small changes to the screen: the huge 6.81-inch panel is over, and the idea is a slightly more contained 6.7-inch screen. All with QHD+ definition, AMOLED and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Who says new vintage, necessarily says new generation of processor: what better in this case than to call on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. We hope, however, that it will not fall into the same faults inherent in the Xiaomi 12 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, whose heating issues caused real problems in our test.
Less powerful wireless charging?
This SoC would be accompanied by 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and an amount of internal storage ranging between 256 and 512 GB (UFS 3.1). Another small change: the power of wireless charging, which would take a small step back here if Yogesh Brar is right: 50 W, compared to 67 on the Mi 11 Ultra.
For their part, the 4800 mAh battery and the 67 W wired charge would not evolve.
