The PlayStation Plus will live its big transformation in June of this year. Sony has just announced the launch dates for its new subscriptions.

As we have known since the end of March, PlayStation has been preparing three new formulas for subscribing to PS Plus: PS Plus Essential, PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium. The console maker has just announced the official launch dates.

In Europe, we will be the last to benefit from the new subscriptions, since the launch is scheduled for the June 22, 2022. Before us, Asia (or Japan) will open the ball on May 23, 2022, followed by Japan on June 1, 2022 and then the Americas on June 13, 2022.
In addition, Sony announces that it is extending the range of its cloud gaming service to eleven new countries, bringing the total number of countries that can benefit from it to 30. When the new PlayStation Plus version is launched, these states will be able to benefit from it: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
What is PlayStation Plus?
As a reminder, the PlayStation Plus will be cut into three pieces. A basic subscription, called Essentialwhich will give access to two games each month, as well as a certain number of advantages (demos, reductions, saving in the cloud, online access, help, etc.), a formula Extra which will give access to a library of 400 games, Xbox Game Pass style as well as a version Premium which adds 340 titles, as well as access to trial versions for certain titles.
