According to Google estimates relayed by 9to5Google, the future Pixel Watch connected watch would not be entitled to such good autonomy. A short day would be enough to get it through the charging box. But beware: this could depend on the conditions and features used.

Officially shown for the first time at Google I/O 2022, the Pixel Watch will be on our handles from this standalone alongside the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. During its conference, the Mountain View firm was not very talkative about its technical characteristics.
This does not prevent you from coming across a few small indiscretions that continue to shape the contours of this connected watch. On this point, 9to5Google does not need to be asked to go hunting for information, as evidenced by one of these latest articles on the autonomy of the tocante.
Not more than a day, but…
According to him, and based on Google’s first estimates based on a pre-series model, the Pixel Watch and its 300 mAh battery would be able to last… a day, before having to go through the charging box. But be careful not to rush into accepting this assessment as it is.

Indeed, no details on the test conditions were given. However, the activation of certain functionalities can strongly impact the autonomy of a device. Always-on mode, heart rate tracking and sleep tracking are clearly among them.
By way of example, and by way of comparison, the Galaxy Watch 4 (44 mm, 361 mAh battery) that we were able to test lasted a short day taking into account the three functions mentioned above. It will have been enough to modify the always-on mode (black dial instead of white dial) to see its endurance increased to two days.
A slow load
Other factors also come into play, such as the choice of processor and operating system. The Pixel Watch should normally rely on Wear OS 3, accompanied by the aging Exynos 9110 chip found on the Samsung Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active 2 and Galaxy Watch 3. Which is also not very auspicious.
9to5Google finally dwells on the charging speed of the smartwatch, without quoting exact figures and specifications. The media simply mentions a not particularly fast charge, which could approach the performance of the Galaxy Watch 4 (barely 2 hours).
