The ideal ultrabook to take everywhere with you
With the suffix “Go”, the Microsoft Surface Laptop is less high-end than the other models, but benefits from the know-how of the brand with an equally successful manufacturing quality. This portable PC has the particularity of weighing only 1 kilo and having small dimensions (28 x 20 x 1.6 cm) to slip easily into a bag. It is a perfect format for students and professionals.
Its small size is accompanied by a 12.4-inch LCD screen, but with a 2:3 aspect ratio that allows it to display as much information as a 13-inch diagonal screen. On the other hand, the panel does not have a definition of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, but 1,536 x 1,024 pixels. Nevertheless, the panel displays a good level of brightness and offers good visual comfort whether for web browsing or watching content.
A smooth experience guaranteed
Far from being renowned for its performance, the Surface Go ultrabook is a solution that is more aimed at students and workers. This model offers a tenth generation Intel Core i5 1035G1 paired with 8 GB of RAM. A configuration capable of performing various daily tasks, classic office automation or for video playback, but not for playing greedy 3D games. Comes with an S version of Windows 10, it is widely possible to switch to a classic version 10 or 11 of the OS if necessary for a smooth user experience. On the storage side, a 128 GB SSD has been planned, in order to offer you good responsiveness.
Autonomy level, Microsoft promises an endurance of 13 hours. In fact, we obtain an autonomy close to 7 hours in use combining web browsing, office automation and listening to music. We especially appreciate the fast charge via USB-C which is rather efficient: from 0 to 100% in 1h30 with the 39 W charger.
