Nvidia GeForce Now should soon offer a 120 Hz display for all compatible Android smartphones. The company has announced the arrival of this possibility linked to its RTX 3080 package. Nothing to report yet on the iOS side.

120 Hz compatibility extended to all compatible Android smartphones

The announcement of this addition dates back to last month and its implementation should be effective this week according to the representative. A higher refresh rate will make games more enjoyable and smoother than before on smartphones.
So far, only a limited amount of devices from Samsung, Google, OnePlus, Xiaomi and Asus were compatible with this feature. Now it will work on any compatible device. However, to access this level of display, it will be necessary to have the subscription at 20 euros per month which offers the highest level of power with the equivalent of an RTX 3080. The priority level remains blocked. at 60 fps.
Nothing on the iOS side for now
No sign, however, of future compatibility with Apple iPhones. iOS currently restricts the use of GeForce to its form of web application which should not simplify the task of developers.
Nvidia is also now offering a new reward on the Fortnite game for players who play it via its platform before August 4: the pickaxe Dish Stroyer. This object, which will arrive on August 11, will be granted to players who have played the game during the period.
