While the Android 13 beta is available on the Pixels, several other models will see a beta arrive: the Oppo Find X5 Pro, the OnePlus 10 Pro and the Realme GT 2 Pro.
The Google I/O is just a few hours away and we should discover the new features brought by Android 13. But for the past few days, Pixels have been able to install the first beta of Android 13 to test the features brought by this new operating system version. Tonight, we could learn that other models from other brands could install the first beta of Android 13. Since then, several manufacturers have announced the arrival of the developer version of Android 13 beta 1 on their smartphones : the Oppo Find X5 Pro, the OnePlus 10 Pro and the Realme GT 2 Pro.
If you have an Oppo Find X5 Pro, you will soon be able to download Android 13 Beta 1
In a press release, Oppo announces that its Find X5 Pro model will be “ one of the first devices to receive the new Google Android 13 Beta 1 update“. The brand said it worked in collaboration with Google “ to provide the best possible user experiencewith its ColorOS interface. The Find X5 Pro would be, according to the manufacturer, the first ColorOS smartphone to be able to upgrade to Android 13, when the final version is released.
Oppo takes advantage of this announcement to release the developer version of ColorOS based on the first beta of Android 13 and explains how to do it. Whether you are a developer or just an owner of Find X5 Pro, you can download and install it on your device. However, if you are not a developer, we strongly advise against trying the experience. Switching to this beta will delete your data: if you decide to try anyway, consider making a backup. In addition, there will inevitably be bugs and problems not resolved by Oppo and/or Google. So avoid downloading this beta version of ColorOS on a device that you use every day.

You can download Android 13 beta 1 on the Realme GT 2 Pro
Realme has just announced that you can download the first beta of the new Android on the GT 2 Pro, as part of its programDeveloper Preview. However, several features specific to the manufacturer’s interface are missing on this version of the operating system.

Obviously, the installation is only recommended for developers to test their applications on this model.
The OnePlus 10 Pro joins the small list of smartphones that can upgrade to Android 13 beta 1
It’s OnePlus’ turn to announce that the first beta of Android 13 is available on its 10 Pro, also as part of its programDeveloper Preview. Again, this is a program for developers to start working on making their apps compatible with the 10 Pro; if you are an individual, we advise you not to try the experience, some features are simply not available.

Other smartphones could benefit from Android 13 beta 1
Today, only these other Android phones, all Pixels, can test the new version of the operating system:
- Pixel 4
- Pixel 4XL
- Pixel 4a
- Pixel 4a (5G)
- Pixel 5
- Pixel 5a
- Pixel 6
- Pixel 6 Pro
By the way, here’s how to install Android 13 beta 1 on your Pixel. Unfortunately, today we learned that Google has implemented a temporary restriction on its testing program.
The Oppo Find X5 Pro, Realme GT 2 Pro and OnePlus 10 Pro shouldn’t be the only non-Pixel smartphones to benefit from the first beta of Android 13. We should know more this evening during the Google conference; an event during which we could discover the Pixel 6a, Pixel Buds Pro or even the Pixel Watch in addition to the new features of Android 13.
