Sharp has just announced a new 2.0 soundbar with basic specifications but which clashes in terms of price: its launch price is well below 100 euros.

At the beginning of July Sharp launches its HT-SB100. Behind this barbaric name hides a new 2.0 soundbar with a basic design and specifications. However, the latter shines with its shock price: 79 euros. An ideal placement for small budgets, but also for those looking for an extra bar for a secondary television, for example.
In its press release, Sharp tells us a little more about this new product. It relies primarily on a glossy black 80 cm case, adorned with a metal grille on the front and control buttons. The Japanese manufacturer indicates that the dimensions of its bar are suitable for televisions of 32 inches and more. Finally, a hanging system allows wall mounting.
A very basic stereo bar
On the technical side, we learn that the HT-SB100 has a maximum output power of 75 W, in stereo 2.0. Three equalizer presets (music, film and voice) are also available to optimize the sound according to the content viewed. Separate settings for bass and treble are also included, we read.
This new soundbar relies on Bluetooth and HDMI to connect to your peripherals and the TV. A 3.5 mm auxiliary input is also present to connect other external devices. The bar’s HDMI connection is finally compatible with the ARC standard and offers the HDMI CEC function to control the sound of the device via the TV remote control.
The Sharp HT-SB100 is expected on the French market in early September 2022, without further details for the moment. Its ridiculous price could quickly make it a popular model despite a limited technical sheet.
