If you want to taste QLED without making a huge dent in your budget, TCL’s new reference is currently on sale: the 43C635 model goes to 469 euros against 599 euros.
TCL designs very successful QLED televisions with the advantage of being more accessible than the competition. Building on its reputation, the manufacturer is back with new models that are proving very interesting. For these new references, the brand highlights its know-how and relies on 4K QLED TVs taking advantage of Google TV. The C63 model has a beautiful technique with a softer price than when it was released thanks to this offer.
The key takeaways from TCL’s C63 model
- The 43″ QLED panel compatible with 4K HDR
- The best standards: HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Vision
- VRR and ALLM modes are included
- The presence of Google TV
Instead of a price crossed out at 599 euros, the 43-inch TCL QLED 43C635 (2022) television is now at 499 euros at Boulanger, but thanks to an ODR the price of the television drops to only 469 euros.
If you want a larger diagonal, the 55-inch model goes to 599 euros after ODR.
TCL’s know-how in a small diagonal
TCL has many arguments to make, and defends itself well against the fairly tough competition on the market. If these televisions are more affordable, the manufacturer ultimately makes few concessions and often offers televisions that meet current expectations. Here, the C63 model shows elegance against the giant Samsung with an elegant and sober design. Its small diagonal of 43 inches remains very immersive thanks to its thin borders and whose display quality is at the rendezvous with the QLED. This technology certainly does not arrive at the level of OLED, but will still bring very beautiful contrasts and ensure good color reproduction.
Thanks to its 4K HDR Pro compatibility (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), the television provides a beautiful fine image. It also has the merit of being compatible with the best video standards, namely HDR10, HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision for an experience like in the cinema, but at home. As for audio, TCL again offers an ONKYO soundbar that offers Dolby Atmos sound for an even more immersive sound experience.
Google TV: an even more fluid and personalized interface
On this model, you will appreciate the presence of 3 HDMI 2.1 ports. For compatible games, you can simply enjoy a better image thanks to the ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) function which reduces latency as much as possible. There is also the VRR rate to enjoy a smooth gaming experience. The panel is then at 50 Hz, and does not offer 4K with such a high refresh rate for this definition. Too bad, so you will be stuck at 60 Hz on PS5 or Xbox Series X.
Finally, this model runs on Google TV, an interface that replaces Android TV. The interface is as simple and fluid as ever, further highlighting trending movies and series that seem relevant to your tastes, depending on the services you subscribe to. It obviously gives access to many applications such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+, MyCanal, etc. Voice assistants are also included, so you can control your TV with your voice. It even includes the Chromecast feature, which will take care of streaming content from your smartphone.
