OnePlus announces a new smartphone, successor to the Nord 2 released last year. The Nord 2T wants to be better on all points, including the design with a more premium appearance.
OnePlus formalizes a new flagship killer with the OnePlus Nord 2T. It takes the basics of its predecessor, the Nord 2, with some improvements to expand the range of OnePlus smartphones.
During our Nord 2 test, we regretted the absence of a 120 Hz screen. But on this the brand does not change its recipe and keeps a refresh rate at 90 Hz. OLED panel in 20:9 format. The latter has a Full HD + definition of 2400 by 1080 pixels and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 glass.
The same 80W charging as the OnePlus 10 Pro
If no big change is to be noted between the Nord 2 and the Nord 2T, there are small improvements on the hardware side of the phone. The phone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC (with an ARM Mali-G77 MC9 GPU). On connectivity, OnePlus offers Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and 5G.
Perhaps the most noticeable improvement is phone charging. On the previous model, we were treated to OnePlus’ Warpcharge technology at 65 W: this time it is boosted to reach 80 W and we switch to Oppo’s proprietary technology, SuperVooc.

The brand announces that you can recover up to a day of autonomy in 15 minutes: the full charge takes 27 minutes a priori. On autonomy, nothing has been announced, but we know that the battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh.
Four photo sensors for the OnePlus Nord 2T
This soon-to-be-released phone is entitled to four cameras in total, three on the back and one on the front:
- The main sensor: a Sony IMX766 of 50 Mpx, f/1.8
- The ultra-wide-angle sensor: 8 Mpx, f/2.2, 120°
- The depth sensor: 2 Mpx, f/2.2
- The selfie sensor: a Sony IMX615 of 32 Mpx, f/2.4

On the video part, you can film with the rear camera in 4K at 30 IPS and in 1080p at 60 IPS. On the front camera, you’ll be able to shoot up to 1080p at 30 FPS. OnePlus obviously offers a plethora of photo functions, such as an HDR mode, a night mode and a portrait mode among others.
