A leak claims to unveil the cooling system of the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti. An event that has happened before.
While Nvidia hasn’t announced anything publicly, the beams are converging towards the next generation of GeForce RTX graphics cards. If we are to believe the rumours, the GeForce RTX 4000 would be future power monsters planned for 2022. After several leaks concerning their characteristics, it is now photographs from Asia that we are dealing with.
A new cooling system
This leak was shared on the Chiphell forums and allegedly shows off the Founder Edition cooling system of the new GeForce RTXs.
We find the same general design as that introduced with the GeForce RTX 3000, with this dual ventilation system, a fan to exhale hot air and another to inspire cool air. We can still note some differences on this new system where the radiator has more fins to dissipate heat.
Also according to this leak, the cooling system shown would be that of the future GeForce RTX 4090 Ti. Beyond the photographs, the credibility of the leak comes from a repetition of history. Indeed, in 2020 already, the Chiphell forum had hosted the first photos of the future GeForce RTX 3080, as early as June, several months before its official presentation.
If we are to believe this leak, it shows that the GeForce RTX 4000 could land in the coming months. From September, if Nvidia keeps the same schedule as in 2020, or even earlier if the firm wants to take its competitors by surprise.
