The Nothing phone (1) would have a 6.55 inch Oled screen in Full HD +. It would also manage to offer a front face devoid of chin.

For a phone expected this summer, the phone (1) still manages to maintain an important element of mystery. For example, the same cannot be said of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4, planned for the detour of August, many probable elements of which are already known. The leaker TechDroiderwhose information around the OnePlus 10 Pro had proven to be reliable, fortunately teaches us a little more by revealing some of the possible characteristics of the phone.
On Twitter, he claims that Nothing’s mid-range phone will have a 6.55-inch Oled screen, with 1080 x 2400 definition. It would also be a flat panel and, importantly, the the front of the phone would not include a chin, a bit like a Galaxy S22 Plus for example, with which it almost shares the 6.6-inch diagonal.

If Nothing manages to offer a design element usually reserved for the high end, such as the absence of a chin on a mid-range smartphone, the operation could prove to be profitable for the young brand. However, we should wait for a little more information on its slab and its real capacities before deciding.
What we are sure of
Remember, the phone (1) has been teased by Nothing on March 23rd. We know that it will feature a Snapdragon chip (possibly a Snapdragon 778G), a transparent design on the back and an interface based on Android 12 called NothingOS.
As for its release date or its price, we are still in the dark, but its recent passage in certification suggests an upcoming release. According to the German site Allround-PCthe phone (1) was to be launched on July 21.
