OnePlus is finally deploying a stable version of OxygenOS 12 on the Nord 2, enough to take advantage of Android 12 and all its new features. The opportunity also to rethink the user interface and to complete an already excellent OxygenOS.
The OnePlus Nord 2 is less than a year old when it receives a big update and changes the version of Android, going from the eleventh iteration to the twelfth. This mid-range smartphone therefore benefits from an update of its interface by upgrading to OxygenOS 12.
No more betas, hello stable version
About a month ago, we saw the first arrival of Android 12 on this smartphone, with the deployment of the first beta of the operating system. Last week, a second beta was put online for users. But OnePlus is quickly taking the next step by starting to roll out a first stable version of OxygenOS 12 for its Nord 2.
Although it is a stable version, it is still young and you may encounter bugs if you download OxygenOS 12. To date, however, no bugs have been officially listed by OnePlus.
The deployment of this new version of Android is staggered, that is to say that OnePlus only launches it to a certain number of users in India. But luckily for you, the update will be available more widely in a few days. If you are in a hurry, you can download the update package manually and install it via this direct link.
