The suspense is unbearable a few hours now from Google I / O, where we could see the Pixel Watch or even new features for Android 13. New information confirms the existence of a Pixel 6a, since the latter would be entered series production.
A leaker confirms the production of the Pixel 6a
A few days ago, leaker Mukul Sharma posted a tweet in which he confirms that “ mass production of the Google Pixel 6a (NFC) has started in several Asian countries » and “the launch seems imminent ».
This information reinforces the rumors already strongly present on the announcement of the Pixel 6a during the Google I / O, the Google conference which will take place from tomorrow.

However, if production is launched, this does not mean that the Pixel 6a will be immediately available for pre-orders when it is announced. On its availability, we can think that it will be launched in the summer at the earliest, it seems unlikely that Google will be able to launch its new smartphone in May or June. Count on July or August instead.
Remember that the Pixel 6a could be launched in France, just like its big brother the Pixel 6, with a revised price. Indeed, if we were to find Google’s Tensor chip, the price would be around 500 euros in a single version offered with 128 GB of storage.
Pixel 6a box previewed last March
The mediaTechxine released a photo of the Pixel 6a box on March 31. He reports that the design of this new smartphone would be different compared to the Pixel 6; the camera module would be smaller and thinner. A module that would accommodate two photo sensors and an LED flash.
Other box leaks suggested that this new model would come in three colorways: black, white and green.
