The gateway to high-end
The Xiaomi 12X is displayed at a lower price than its counterparts, without making too many concessions. It thus has the same dimensions and provides a very good feeling at the level of the grip thanks to its diagonal of 6.28 inches and its weight of only 180 grams. On the screen side, the 12X relies on the same AMOLED screen in Full HD + with a refresh rate of 120 Hz for better fluidity in the interface.
On the back of the smartphone, the Xiaomi 12X is made up of the same photo module as its elder, the Xiaomi 12. There is a 50 megapixel main sensor, a 13 megapixel ultra wide-angle and a 5 megapixel telemacro. The quality of the photos should be there thanks to the new tool called CyberFocus, which would make it possible to manage the automatic focus of the camera even better, in particular to always identify the face and the body of the subject.
With few concessions
To lower the bill for this model, Xiaomi has integrated not the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 but the 870 chip from Qualcomm. It is certainly less powerful, but it will handle everyday tasks without any problem. You will be able to launch any application, even greedy, but also 3D games. The chip also allows access to the 5G network. Note that this smartphone does not run on Android 12, but Android 11 with the MIUI 13 interface.
Finally, on the autonomy side, the Xiaomi 12X has the same battery as the classic model, namely a 4,500 mAh battery – enough to last a day. It also has 67 W fast charging which will allow it to recharge from 0 to 100% in just 39 minutes, according to the brand.
