The new Oppo Reno 8s have been uploaded to various Chinese online sites, long before the official release date. You can see what they look like.
While the Reno 7 was only made official in April 2022 in France, Oppo is preparing to launch the Reno 8 range. Specifically, these new smartphones are expected to debut on May 23 in China.
A week before their launch, they are already available on various Chinese merchants. These very early pre-orders contain official images of the Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro+.
Oppo Reno 8
Renders of the Reno 8 show that this smartphone sports a rear design similar to what was known from other Reno smartphones. The Reno 8’s screen has a punch hole in the top left corner and a prominent chin.
As for specs, Oppo’s Chinese website listed two models ahead of launch. Both models will have 256 GB of internal storage, the main difference being that one contains 8 GB of RAM while the other has 12 GB of RAM.
Oppo Reno 8 Pro
The Reno 8 Pro sports the same design as the Reno 8 but is equipped with a thinner chin, the borders are more refined. The punch hole is located at the top center of the Reno 8 Pro+ which is also a noticeable difference. You will also have noticed that depending on the models, the colors are different.
Oppo Reno 8 Pro+
The spacing between the cameras and the visible size of the cameras keep increasing as you go upmarket. These cameras seem huge on the Reno 8 Pro +, all smartphones are stamped by the house chip MariSilicon X dedicated to photography.
We still have few details on the technical characteristics, we will have to wait for the formalization to find out more. We just know that the Oppo Reno 8 could be the first to integrate a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
As usual for Chinese brands, the launch is done in several stages, it is not yet 100% sure that we will benefit from these future devices in France.
