The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 is very balanced to the point of claiming the title of entry-level champion. Moreover, if you usually have to spend 249.90 euros for the 128 GB version, today it drops to 179.90 euros.

In the plethora of Xiaomi smartphones, the Redmi Note range stands out for its ability to offer excellent value for money. And the Chinese firm intends to keep its leading position on the entry-level market with its new reference: the Redmi Note 11. Its technical sheet impresses for a smartphone in this category: between its efficient design, its OLED screen with infinite contrasts, its daily speed and its comfortable autonomy (with fast charge), it is difficult today to find a better smartphone in this price range. Now is the perfect time to upgrade to this phone, as the price of the 128GB version drops to under $180.
The strengths of the Redmi Note 11
- A beautiful AMOLED screen at 90 Hz
- An efficient entry-level SoC
- Comfortable autonomy coupled with fast charging
Offered for release at 249.90 euros, the 4 + 128 GB version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 (XFF Special Edition) is displayed at 229.90 euros on the official website. But Xiaomi does not stop there and offers a 20 euro discount applied directly in the basket, and even extends its ODR until May 15. Best in Class
Here we are again facing a smartphone from Xiaomi, and the Redmi Note 11 impresses with its technical data sheet for a very contained price. Its appearance – certainly well known in recent years – is very appreciable with its screen with thin borders and the punch located in the center. Moreover, if its predecessor had an OLED panel, the Note 11 is also entitled to this screen technology which brings infinite contrasts. Its diagonal is 6.43 inches in FHD + and is also accompanied by a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Xiaomi also wanted to offer stereo speakers to enjoy better sound quality. Once again, the Chinese manufacturer is increasingly beefing up its game in this area and leaving very few chances to its rivals.
On the back, the photo module of the Redmi Note 11 looks exactly like the S model, but does not have the same sensors. The Note 11 consists of a 50-megapixel main sensor, with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, a 2-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel depth. Xiaomi’s smartphone therefore shows versatility, but is not a champion in the field of photography. The shots remain correct, but without shining, especially after dark.
Decent performance for the price
For this price range, do not expect high performance, but this model has the merit of being effective. Thanks to its Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chip coupled with 4 GB of RAM, you will benefit from a fairly fluid user experience. You will not be able to run 3D games that are too greedy, but this configuration will be more than enough to consult your social networks, do web browsing and support multitasking. On the software side, it is of course the latest version of the home interface, MIUI 13 based on Android 11.
Finally, it will especially be appreciated for its large 5,000 mAh battery which can last for 1 to 2 days away from an outlet. But its real advantage over the competition is that it still has a fast charge of up to 33 W. You will be able to recover around 50% in about thirty minutes. It’s still better than some high-end phones that are limited to 25 W, for example. A little extra, this smartphone has a jack port for those who haven’t gone wireless. We also note the presence of an NFC chip as well as an IP53 certification to resist a minimum of splashes and dust.
