A new Xiaomi smartphone has been spotted in CCC listings. The certification body for the Chinese market suggests what appears to be a variant of the Xiaomi 12 Pro, also equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

2206122SC is the model number of a new Xiaomi smartphone listed in CCC records. The certification body for products intended for the Chinese market is obviously discreet about the nature of the device, but it could be the Xiaomi 12S Pro which we had briefly heard about. According to information relayed by XiaomiUI, this model would be based on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and would support 120 W fast charging. Unsurprisingly, 5G connectivity would also be relevant.
As the specialized site points out, another version of the device had previously been seen at the CCC, this time under the reference 2207122MC, and with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. This information corroborates previous rumors suggesting that the Xiaomi 12S Pro would be available in two versions, respectively equipped with different chips. Both would be variants of the Xiaomi 12 Pro launched at the start of the year. If we are to believe these listings, they could soon arrive on the Chinese market.
Two versions that do not have the same recharging capacities?
According to XiaomiUI, the MediaTek version of the Xiaomi 12S Pro would not, however, be housed in the same boat on the charging side. This model would indeed be satisfied with a 67 W charger, probably slower than the 120 W block anticipated with the Snapdragon version of the machine. Note that this information should be taken with a grain of salt, Xiaomi has not yet formalized its 12S Pro.

Anyway, previous rumors indicate that the device would be equipped with a QHD + and 120 Hz OLED panel, with curved edges. On the photo side, it could be armed with a 32 megapixel selfie camera and a triple rear photo module including a 50 Mpx main sensor. A partnership between Xiaomi and Leica is also not to be excluded for this product which should logically be talked about, through official channels, in the coming weeks.
